The quadrennial project for 2007-2011 is Project SIerra: A family and a future and we are fortunate enough to have club member, Chris Knight, as the Federation Liasion Officer for this project. We have various fundraising options happening.
Breakfast with Margaret Vallance State Coordinator National Council of Women (Queensland)
The National Council of Women was founded in 1896 and has seven Constituent Councils across Australia. Through affiliation with the International Council of Women they enjoy Category A Consultative Status with the United Nations. Guest Speaker Margaret Vallance is the Immediate Past President and the current State Coordinator for NCWQ. Margaret’s presentation will focus on past and current NCWQ projects and how by working in partnership with others NCWQ has been able to improve access to services for women and their families.
