Soroptimist International Brisbane City (SIBC) is a non-profit breakfast club that operates under the objectives of Soroptimist International.  Soroptimist International is a worldwide organisation for women in management and professions, working through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women.

Annual membership to SIBC costs $160.00. If you join part way through the year, a pro-rata membership rate applies. When you first join, you will also be charged a once-off fee of $25.00 to cover a Soroptimist pin and a copy of the constitution and other organisational documents on CD. In addition, you are encouraged to purchase a Soroptimist badge with your name which currently costs $15.00. Refer to our Membership section for more information on being a member.

Members of SIBC come from a variety of professional backgrounds including public service, technology and business and education. This helps to bring a range of skills to the club with members able to learn from other members.

SIBC is an innovative, bright club with lots of fresh insight into service work on both a local, national and international level.

One of the exciting aspects of the club (and organisation) is the ability to get involved in global issues.
