  13. Sex Trafficking. A series of four articles written for the San Francisco Chronicle Friday October 6 2006 through to Tuesday October 10 2006. It includes the diary of a young girl You Mi Kim, a debt-ridden college student from South Korea who reveals how she was trafficked into sexual slavery in California.
  14. Captive Daughters.  Captive Daughters is the first anti-trafficking group established in California. They focus solely on ending the sexual bondage of female adolescents and children.
  15. Polaris Project. Polaris Project's vision is for a world without slavery. Named after the North Star that guided slaves towards freedom along the Underground Railroad, Polaris Project has been providing a comprehensive and community-based approach to combating human trafficking and modern-day slavery since 2002.
  16. The Emancipation Network - Fighting Human Trafficking and Slavery Through Empowerment. The Emancipation Network helps survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery by providing sustainable income - we sell beautiful handicrafts made by survivors at 22 shelters and prevention programs all over the world.
  17. Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation - Blog. A Deeper Look at Human Trafficking and Exploitation with the U.S and Abroad.
  18. Trafficking in Persons Report 2008  - By the US Department of State. This is one of the most comprehensive human trafficking reports available. Note that it is a very large report.  Further details on this are available from the link.
